Haze Gameplay Video Download

Gameplay footage of Haze was shown at the Ubi Days event. The game is based around a corporation called Mantel, and players in the game use a special nectar to enchance their abilities as a soldier.

I'm not impressed, this looks like another shooter, not that there is a problem with that but I remember when I seen GEARS of WAR at E3.(I had goosebumps and new this game was coming home) I did not have the same feeling watching this video.

I stress, Not that every game will look like GEARS but I'm just not excited from that video. I think the game looks very Haloish..with like, Star Wars: Battleground sound effects.

I think we'll definitely see more fidelity in the visuals with better videos, but the story line sounds intriguing to me. I want to see the 4-player co-op mode.

Ignoring the horrible video quality and based off of the screens and teaser trailers, I think the game will look impressive visually, and I think they have a good story line going too. I can't tell how deep the gameplay is going to be, but 4-player campaign is pretty cool. This might be a sleeper.

you people are so g*d d*mned hard to please. i mean, *REALLY.

this game looks very impressive, and it's coming from a company that has a proven track record for making quality first person shooters (GoldenEye, the Timesplitters series).

i mean, d*mn, this generation seems to be full of nothing but whiny little bastards who can't appreciate a good game unless the developer is blowing smoke up your @sses about "innovation," and, "revolutionary game design."

here's a friggin news flash: NOT EVERY GAME NEEDS TO BE INNOVATIVE TO BE GOOD. NOT EVERY GAME NEEDS TO HAVE CUTTING EDGE GRAPHICS TO BE GOOD. NOT EVERY GAME NEEDS TO MATCH AN EXISTING GAME FEATURE FOR FEATURE TO BE GOOD.

SOMETIMES A GOOD GAME IS JUST A GOOD GAME.

considering how the nature of the FPS genre severely limits innovation in most cases (i mean, you can't change the camera angle or else it won't be an FPS will it? you can't remove the shooting, or else it's not an First Person *SHOOTER, is it?), so what it really boils down to is whether or not the game is *FUN. remember that thing? the reason why we play video games in the first place? FUN? i certainly haven't forgotten it.

Resident Evil 4: Not revolutionary or innovative, but a great evolution of the series. hella fun.

God of War I & II: not revolutionary or innovative, but a great game, and hella fun.

Halo Series: not revolutionary or innovative (i think Half Life is the series that defined FPSes for the past few generations), but still a very good series and hella fun (at least number 1 was. 2 and 3 don't do anything for me right now).

I got my hands on it earlier today... was really underwhelmed. Resistance is better than this, and even that was pretty meh.
