GrE writes, "Not sure why but I have been on a kick recently of getting games of the "seek and find" variety. 5 Spots Party, a Wiiware game from Cosmonaut games, is the most recent of that type to cross my path. My wife and I really do love playing these games so I figured what the hell, why not tackle another.
This type of game is really one of the most basic things you can play on the Wii, or any other system for that matter. It's hard to make it exciting to all audiences, and to be quite honest nothing that would require the "Party" moniker..."
Cosmonaut Games have today revealed a special promotion to tie-in with the 5 Spots Party first Anniversary. 5 Spots Party was the first WiiWare release from Cosmonaut Games, and was released during 2009. Now, the development team has launched a special promotion where eager Wii gamers can get access to a free game copy.
5 Spots Party is the debut WiiWare release from developer Cosmonaut Games, and it feels like the kind of quick and easy title that a developer would choose as its WiiWare debut -- a simple concept, simple to program, simply to get an understanding of how the whole WiiWare scene works. Well, it's a functional game -- but not all that fun. This kind of activity is best kept in magazines and coloring books for kids, because it doesn't hold enough interest or variety to really stand out in the Wii Shop as more than just a spot filler.

DGS-Online writes: "5 Spots Party is a low-priced search the differences game. Although all the alarms go off to see and hear it, this, against that expected, but a fairly safe download. Not only because its price-friendly, but mainly because the formula works very well on the Wii."
Yay for matching games... I guess :-S
Clearly, it's not a party until there's at least 6, maybe 7 spots.
Different strokes for different spokes. Or fokes. or whatevs.
Sounds ok to me, decent fodder for the casual gamer.
I have a soft spot for super casual games. I might have to take a look at this one.
