It's another packed new game release week. There is something to select from for every gaming system. Many PlayStation 3 gamers will find their hours going into Uncharted 2. It has already been rated as one of this year's best games. Double Fine Productions is delivering their Brutal Legend game this week for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 gamers. Both of the games will be available on the crack of October 13th, midnight, from GameStop's Midnight Launch opening event. Wii gamers, you have plenty to keep yourselves busy too. If you haven't picked up Wii Sports Resort yet, now's a great time to with the Limited Edition Wii Sports Resort Bundle. It includes two Wii MotionPlus controllers, instead of the usual one, saving your $10. A Boy and His Blob returns with a charming new art style. SEGA delivers the second Mario and Sonic competitive outing with Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games. Also fitting for an October release is JU-ON: The Grudge, which is subtitled "The Haunted House Simulator." Star Wars fans, you have the first officially licensed Wii peripherals out, which include Lightsabers, a Blaster and the Darth Vader Wii Remote Sensor Bar Holder. Fallout 3 game designer Bruce Nesmith explains that the upcoming remaster should revise the game's gunplay to be more modern.
Give us FO3 with all the dlc remastered like ESO. Load times faster, quality of life improvements, gun play improvements
I believe it shouldn't just be graphical they should make improvements where they can to make the game better. A simple face lift isn't what's needed
Still my favorite one. I remember getting a digital copy of FO3 when I got FO4(XBO). It was nice to finally play a stable version of the game. Then when I got a Series S it was an even better expierence. Quick resume and FPS boost made it feel like a whole new game. Updated gunplay would be very welcome though. One of the few things FO4 did better.
The rumoured Fallout 3 Remaster is still in development, but it will be years until fans get to play it on new platforms.
Fairly certain we all know that New Vegas isn't getting anything because it's not a Bethesda developed game.

Yep ... Todd doesn't like getting bettered within his own IP scope.
I still think of the Elder Scrolls spin-off Obsidian pitched similar to New Vegas, but Todd rejected.
Replayed NV more than FO3 ... so I appreciate the FO3 remaster more.
For NV, I'd much prefer a sequel or a spinoff from Obsidian.
It's crazy New Vegas wasn't worked on first to launch alongside Fallout Season 2.
They could have added all the cut content they had planned but didn't have enough development time to add, possibly even expand on it a little more. For example, have the Vegas strip as one big hub over being chopped into smaller sections we have to keep loading into.
The only Fallout game I’ve played, PS3 had to keep stopping every few minutes to save. Next thing I knew the credits were rolling and I never did any side quest. I never replayed the game because of all the bugs the game had.
I've played Fallout 3 more than any game. I lost count many years ago of how many times I finished it. It was my first Platinum trophy. But yeah, it was buggy on PS3 at launch before it got properly patched.

The blockbuster sequel to 2007’s Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune not only received critical acclaim and became a massive hit for Sony’s third console when it was released 15 years ago on October 13th, 2009, but it also cemented Naughty Dog’s future as a developer of cinematic, story-driven action-adventure games as opposed to its history of colorful platformers like Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter from previous PlayStation generations. To this day, Uncharted 2 stands as one of the PS3’s best exclusives and one of the most important PlayStation games of all time.
I loved this era on multiplayer games from Sony. People used to call the modes tacked on multiplayer but they were enjoyable. I loved Factions even more. I'm Still gutted that the second one isn't coming out.
Yeah, that one game where it not only has an amazing single player but the multiplayer was also just as good.
A fresh a breath air with it's more "skill focused, less is more" multiplayer in a time during COD fever where every other game with online was trying to be like it.
Shame NaughtyDog eventually did do COD like things with Uncharted 3 and 4, they ruined what made the original so good. It become an over the top arcade fest in the end.
Ironic cause the MP was basically Halo, and Bungie helped on the technical side of things too. MP was more simple back then, I've said this before but I played U2 MP religiously. I sucked at it like you have no idea, but mah gawd did I have so much fun. Can't find an MP game that hooked me like U2s these days. Then Factions came along and while it had its problem I found new religion with it. Agh damn it why did they cancel Factions 2 bruhh.
It is for sure my favorite game in the series. It's such a blast to play. The train levels still hold up and are fun as hell as well as the entire game.
Still remember the first gameplay video ... shooting the chasing truck and then the beautiful visuals & details whilst traversing the dilapidated Nepal streets ... perfection
Too bad Sony never ported the trilogy to PC ...
I'll say, the PS3 really did sequels better than people give it credit for. Resistance 2, Uncharted 2, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Infamous 2... all were better than their initial offerings and still hold up to this day.
Finally gonna get my hands on Uncharted 2. Consider my exam on Wednesday failed.

Demon Souls Last Week, Uncharted 2 Tuesday, Ratchet and Clank 2 weeks from now. I'm set until Christmas. Going to try and hold out for MW2 and ASS Creed 2 until Next Year.
