BeefJack writes: "In 1979, Sol Yurick’s 1965 novel, The Warriors, was adapted for the big screen. It is now a cult film set in the gang-infested streets of New York City in which The Warriors, a gang from Coney Island, have just been framed for the shooting of the most powerful gang leader in the city, Cyrus, and are on the run. Throughout the course of one night, they attempt to make it back home to Coney Island, fleeing the various other street gangs that pursue them along the way. This plot is mirrored and converted into a video game experience in The Warriors: Street Brawl, on the Xbox Live Arcade service."
