DarkZero: Cursed Mountain Review

You might argue that your average Wii owner won't necessarily have played many survival horror titles, in which case Cursed Mountain might not seem so terrible. But then, if you're one of those average Wii owners, you can get the mighty Wii edition of Resident Evil 4 for less money instead, and have a lot more fun. Meanwhile, everyone who's already played Resi 4 can see that Cursed Mountain is, without a shadow of a doubt, a bit pants.

It's really just a shame that this review goes out of it's way to give the game a 5/10 score...and really doesn't explain why.

I'm getting a lot of "I played the game for 10 minutes", since a lot of things I know are in the game aren't mentioned nor are any mentions of how the controls work other than the third-eye and gestures.

There is just a lot in this review that is missing, and it really shouldn't even have a score slapped on it.

Feature: Halloween Scares on Wii

The scariest night of the year is now only two days away, a horrifying evening when strange children knock at the door and refuse to leave without a toll of sweets and candy. It's also the time of year when we willingly scare ourselves witless by playing frightening video games.

To finish off a week-long series of fond Wii remembrances, Nintendo Life wants to highlight some titles from the system's back-catalogue that are perfect for this time of year. It suggests turning out the lights, basking in the tiny blue glow of the Wii power switch and trying these titles this Halloween.
