The PSP has a stronger and vaster exclusive list than the 360. That is sad.

I pretty much disagree with most of the list lol.

In no particular order I'd recommend:

Crisis Core

God of War Chains of Olympus(Maybe not buy as it's only 6 hours long)

Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops

Crimson Gem Saga (This game is superb. If you like games like Golden Sun, Lunar, or the original Final Fantasies then this RPG is rock solid on all levels)

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (I do agree with this one from the list. There's a reason it has sold so much in Japan. It really shows what the PSP is capable of, and it's great to go online and play with buddies in co-op against big ol monsters. This game is HUUUUGE and it'll take you 200hrs+ to tackle the majority of it. Plus it keeps getting free DLC to keep you hunters busy.

Worthy Mentions:
Resistance Retribution. Valkyrie Profile. Star Ocean 1 and 2. Final Fantasy 1 and 2. Yggdra Union. Jean d'arc.

Coming soon: Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker. Little Big Planet. Moto Storm. Last Ranker. .hack//link.

PSP has a lot of games and the quality keeps increasing.

I will have to find copy of Crimson Gem Saga.
Some of my faves for the PSP would have to be the two Syphon Filter games, Hot Shots, Crisis Core, God of War, Jeanne D'Arc, MGS:PO. I would have to give Metal Gear Ac!d 2 an honorable mention.

Nice list, although I would of put God of War in there.

Monster Hunters is a game I would like to try. Recently put FFVII on my PSP, as I never had a chance to play it back in the PS days, and I must say I love it! Wouldn't mind another RPG on my PSP after this one.

Crisis Core is another I will try.

There seems to be a big lack of loco rocco on this list.

Patapon 2 and The Wonderful 101 are proof that gaming's eclectic past should be revisited

In the past, these games wouldn't have received a second lease of life. While it's sometimes easy to roll an eye and dismiss remasters as double-dipping, in the cases of the games that time (almost) forget, there's an undeniable joy in seeing a new audience discover them for the first time.

It's been well documented how gaming has struggled to hold onto its past, in terms of older games becoming inaccessible due to hardware moving on, in ways that film and music have never quite had to. With remasters like these, the hope is that foundations are being laid for these sort of cult curios to exist for a long while yet.
