Sadly for Raven Squad, developer Atomic Motion doesn’t appear to have a good enough grasp of either the first-person shooter or the real-time strategy gameplay in its hybrid squad-based game. Don’t get us wrong, we really like Raven Squad’s FPS/RTS concept and, as huge Eighties action movie fans, its setting – which has you leading two squads of stereotypical, multi-racial hard-as-nails soldiers in a cheesy mission set in the Amazon jungle – is great, but the problem is that two broken halves can’t make a whole.
