VideoGamer.com writes: "Make no mistake, this is Gran Turismo as you remember it but on a handheld, and done in a way that betters what I imagined was possible. It looks great, plays superbly and has an absolute ton of content to work through. It's impossible not to feel more than a little let down by what's missing, though. A more structured career mode would have been great, online leaderboards and ghosts simply should have been included, and the lack of online play is bitterly disappointing. Who knows what will be added to the game post release, but as it stands we've got the ultimate handheld driving game with a fairly bare bones feature list. Buy it, spend hours earning credits and buying cars, and try to overlook the glaring omissions without shedding a small tear."
If you were hoping to attend the final preliminary live event in the 2024 Gran Turismo World Series and hadn't yet picked up some tickets, your time has run out.
A special free Gran Turismo demo is set for launch later this year, as Sony gears up to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation console.
The demo, going by the name of "My First Gran Turismo", will appear towards the end of the year in an unspecified "holiday" window and be free for all.
Featuring four International Live Events and six rounds of online qualifiers.

So many reviews. I'll just play it then I'll judge it myself.
I dont know. IGN was saying that there is no 'story' or 'career' mode which means you race just to race. That sounds boring to me. Ill wait for GT5
See there, people? Someone loves it. You can't spell ignorant without IGN. They gave it a 6.8 because it has beautiful graphics, great sound, smooth racing, huge variety, but... not a deep enough console-sim style career to make it seem like your races are more important than just providing the thrill of a race? Come on. This is a portable game, be fair to it, like this Videogamer review.
I happen to trust IGN reviews. Hell their review was worse than Eurogamer. Face it, GT PSP isn't a very good effort. Well, maybe effort isn't the correct word, but that mode should be there.
