Spider-Man 3 (Wii) review
Content here…I won’t muck about:-
the Wii version of Spider-Man is terrible when compared to the other two versions. Graphically, its very much inferior to the PS3. Every object has jagged edges sharp enough to cut vegetables with, and the textures look rubbery and poor. Also, the city itself looks lifeless and it’s a disappointment to watch as the building textures draw themselves in the closer you get.
Wheres The Cool Stuff???
The game also plays differently–the free-roaming GTA-like gameplay is still there but only barely and you feel very much confined whereas on the PS3 it kind feels nice to just roam about watching New York go about its business.
The web-slinging action that makes the PS3 version so "MUST PLAY" has been totally mishandled: instead of simply pressing a button, you have to hold a button and flick your wrists. At first, this seems pretty cool as it mimics Spidey’s movements, but considering the fact that you have to do it over and over again throughout the course of the game, it can get a little tiresome. And unlike the PS3 version, the aiming is a little wild, meaning you’ll spend a lot of time splattering up against buildings.
