Boomtown writes: "It’s hard to understand the creation of a new Madballs game considering how archaic even memories of the toys are now. As a mid 1980s fad, the stereotyped monster-based bouncy balls spawned a TV series and a handful of video games, amongst other licensed money-grabbing products, before being consigned to history in the true nature of prepubescent crazes. Not one of my senior friends could unearth a valid memory, so resurrecting them over 20 years later tends to raise a few eyebrows."
