New Ninja Destiny 2 Character Specific Jutsu

Special jutsu for Naruto, Temari, Yamato, Sai, Gaara, Shikamaru, Orochimaru, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Kakashi, Kabuto, Sakura, and 4-Tailed Naruto have been revealed!

TOMY Corporation today rolled out more gameplay videos for NARUTO Shippuden: Ninja Destiny 2 for Nintendo DS, the latest iteration of the popular portable 3D fighting series, Ninja Destiny. The videos take a closer look at the variety of characters activating their special jutsu moves, and also gives gamers a taste of the stylistic graphics and exciting battles.

Some of the special jutsu featured include Sai using Ninja Art: Super Beasts Scroll, Gaara activating Sand Tsunami and Shikamaru letting loose his Ninja Art: Shadow Stitching. These character specific jutsu and many more are featured in Ninja Destiny 2, coming to Nintendo DS September 15, 2009.

Game Guy Review: Naruto Shippuden Ninja Destiny 2

Game Guys writes: "The latest port in the Naruto Shippuden series makes its way to the Nintendo DS. This game is really just a stepping stone since the next game is already out in Japan, and there is already an ad for the new game in this games instruction booklet. It will probably be out in the state's some time next year. Hopefully that game fixes some of the issues this game has."

GameSpot: Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Destiny 2 Review

If you're not a fan of the show, you'll get all you need from Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Destiny 2 in about as much time as it takes you to finish saying its name. The fighting is serviceable for a little while, and the visuals are nice, but the lack of options, the shallow fighting mechanics, and the tedious Story mode keep this game from fighting game fame. There's no compelling reason to spend time mashing buttons on this one.
