Survival horror can be a lot of hard work, especially when there's no light relief to break up the gore-filled barrage of trouser-filling frights. So just as the movie world has Scream and The Faculty to have fun with the formula, so gaming has Obscure - and Games Radar ahs been given hands-on access to a nearly finished PS2 build of its sequel, Obscure II.
The game's unique in that its co-operative two-player mode runs for the entire game. Games Radar was impressed with the sheer number of dialogue lines as the two characters conversed almost continuously throughout the gameplay, without noticeably repeating themselves. The voice acting is high in quality too, with readings that sound like the actors actually understand script context - much better than some other games they could mention from the genre (cough, Resident Evil, cough).
ObsCure: The Aftermath features an improvement of nearly all of the hang-ups that held the first game back.
Survive the horror.

ObsCure and ObsCure: The Aftermath Coming To Steam In Early March With Updated Features
Pretty decent horror games. Might have to get these, played the first one on Xbox but not played the 2nd one.
but it would be nice if for once a dev actually took the time to do a quality port utilizing the Wii graphic hardware AND the controler's unique functions to the fullest. I doubt that will happen until the PS2 is dead though.
i liked the 1st one...........want it on 360 even if it looks rather crap lol
