This article may bring to your attention an interview done by ‘Alternative Gamer Online’ with 30 year old Hannes Appell, the creator of a couple of popular youtube videos depicting enhanced scenes from ‘The Secret of Monkey Island 2 – Le Chucks Revenge’
Hannes, currently working for Crytek, may have shown Lucasarts a thing or two about revamping their classic games. In the interview he discusses his technique which preserves the original art, yet gives it a more modern look than Lucasarts own special edition remake.
