The Slowdown have published a review of Wadjet Eye Games' latest entry to the "Blackwell" indie adventure game series, "The Blackwell Convergence".
The review, instead of trying to forcibly position the game into the current adventure gaming landscape, attempts to find and define features that separate and differentiate the game from its most immediate peers.
The primary focus of the analysis is Dave Gilbert's methodical utilization of real-world locations and characters. The review also contains discussion of intriguing character progression and -relationships found within the game's storyline.
Gamesta.com is back with more indie deals. This time, Bundle in a Box returned with no less than 11 games, which are available starting at the low price of $4. Most of these are also redeemable through Steam and should last you quite some time.
Brash Games writes "As you play each individual game you soon realise they all tie in together to create a clever and captivating story. This is an epic series for all those point-and-click fans and will happily entertain you for hours".
Who says point and click adventure games are dead? Well, the Blackwell bundle is sure to help scratch that itch that the old Sierra and LucasArts games have left.
Sweet nectar. There are 3 or 4 point-and-click adventure game articles within the first two pages today.
Bring on the point-and-click renaissance!
