"Tears of The Sun" as inspiration for "Soap" in Modern Warfare 2

ModernWarfare247 writes: "Ramain was kind enough to share this little piece he found on who Cpt. 'Soap' MacTavish might be inspired on in Modern Warfare 2. It looks pretty obvious that 'Soap' is inspired on the actor Johnny Messner from the movie Tears of the Sun (2003) with Bruce Willis."

[UPDATED] Infinity Ward has stated they're inspired by pretty much everything, from Hollywood movies to the train station in Frankfurt.

Still dont know why a Brit would have a military mowhawk, when it is kind of an American thing. The first guys to do it where American airborne in WW2 who based it on the Indians.
