Nextgamer writes: "Wipeout, a game since the PlayStation One already is part one of the best selling PlayStation exclusives. Similarly, Wipeout HD, a gem available through the online PlayStation Store from Sony. Wipeout HD spent much what its predecessors have spent, but with much better graphics and animations. Wipeout is perhaps one of the best games for the PlayStation 3 available to date, and that for 15 euro."
YouTube channel Cycu1 has created a video which shows us a side by side comparison of WipEout Omega Collection (PS4 Pro) and WipEout HD Fury (PS3).
Damn, the rez and textures its huge. The image is so Sharp!!!! and this game was already very good on the Ps3
Was 1080p 60fps on ps3.
This isn't just a resolution bump it's a complete rework.
First thing I'll do is beast zico on anulpha pass..
I am soooo happy to have wipeout again I was afraid it wouldnt return again. Cant wait
My neighbors are gonna listen the soundtrack.
Whether they like it or not.
TGH Writes: "A soundtrack is what brings the game to life and fills it with memories, it’s also what separates an average game from a great game. You won’t see any must-play titles having lacklustre soundtracks, it’s all integral to the experience.
So, without further ado, here are my top 10 video game soundtracks – and I can promise you that it’s not just your generic list of games you see on everybody else’s top 10."
God of War series, Alan Wake, Mass Effect series, Bioshock series, Oddworld AO & AE, Castlevania: LoS, Oblivion, Fable 1 & 2, Deus Ex: HR have my favourite OST's.
EuroGamer: "This is a brilliant update that retroactively switches WipEout 2048 from being a competent handheld series entry to being one of the Vita's very best games."
Wipeout is not entirely a playstation exclusive though...franchise wise I mean...as the original was ported to the Sega Saturn...and ran like crap...
Sony eventually bought the rights though, and gathered Psygnosis and built Studio Liverpool out of it as well...so basically sony bought the rights to the name, hired the guys responsible for the games (at that point wipeout, xl, and wipeout 3 believe)...and let them keep building the titles...
what I am wondering is if studio liverpool will ever bring back any other titles they made in the past...like G-Police, Colony Wars, and the destruction derby series...as those where all majorly popular ps1 titles...would love to see some legacy game franchises like that come back...especially colony wars...
this must be one of the highest rated DLC's out this gen. Definitely a lot of bang for ur buck. Maybe they nailed the price with this one
If you own a PS3 and don't have this game you are missing out on an absolute gem.
The zone modes are out of this world!
This is probably my most played game on the PS3.
