10TACTLE Studios announced a cooperative deal with Asian Games & Media Private Equity Fund that will aid the publisher in bringing the next Ready 2 Rumble Boxing game to Wii.
Sophia, the developer formerly known as AKI Corporation, is leading development on the new game. While the studio has not worked on the Ready 2 Rumble Boxing series in the past, the company developed a number of other acclaimed wrestling titles, including WWF No Mercy for Nintendo 64 and the Def Jam series on GameCube.
Invite 20 of your friends, break out the booze, hook up the consoles, and prepare to get plastered!
But first, check out Complex Magazine's list of the 10 games you should be playing while doing all of those other things.
My favs in no particular order...
COD (any)
BF 3
NBA2k12
GTA
Forza 3/4
Red Dead
Mario Party
Kinect Sports
Halo
Uhm, and then? NO MORE AND THEN!
Ya, the list could go on, and on, and on. Oh, and playing that game, "Guess what's in your mouth" with the ladies while wasted is always fun too. ;)
@blackdeath... Naw, I'm not an angry drunk, and I still play pretty much as good as I do when sober. 1.2 K/D... anyways. I like COD while drinking, because of the friends on my friends list. We all bust open a six pack or something, and start a night of playing. The joking and all that makes for a good time.
But I do see what you're saying though. I'm sure some would be hitting their dogs while playing and drinking during some COD. lol.
Ever tried playing GTAIV realllly drunk while Niko is also drunked out ?... Funny shit XD
I have a friend whos better at shooters when he's high. Also I remember playing counter strike on new years eve and half of the team was drunk
GameFocus writes: "There comes a time in every boxers life when they have to realize it's time to hang up the gloves. Unfortunately, it's never an easy thing to do, despite the apparent fact that they just can't hang with the new school crowd. Atari and Aki's resurrection of the Ready 2 Rumble boxing series, once the king of arcade boxers, tries to jump back into the ring on the Wii. Can the game relive it's past glory? Or will it be K.O.'d in round one? Here, we explore Ready 2 Rumble Revolution."
Pros
+ Cartoon-like characters compliment arcade style.
+ Some training minigames are tolerable.
+ A fair number of unlockables.
+ Multiplayer isn't nearly as frustrating
Cons
- Worst. Controls. Ever.
- Humour hasn't evolved since the series' inception 10 years ago.
- Exploitable power moves that even the AI utilizes.
Ars writes: "I'm sober these days, after making a deal with my wife that I'd give up the bottle until our baby is born. We figure it's a small sacrifice compared to what her body is going through, but the unintended consequence is that reviewing bad games has become very, very bad. It used to be I could slug a scotch or two while trying to fight through a game like Ready 2 Rumble: Revolution, but now I have to stare into the abyss with eyes that are stone sober. This game actually put me in a bad mood."
I want!
