PS3 Slim for a reduced price is a fact, why?

Since last year there are several rumors on the internet that there will be a price cut of the PlayStation 3 and since a few months, there are also photos appeared of a PS3 Slim. And of course this remains speculation until Sony officially announces this apparently at the GamesCom in Germany, where the three-hour press conference held at Sony in August 18. But if we put all the rumors and facts together, we can certainly say that the PS3 Slim for a reduced price is a fact for this year, or maybe next month!
