BlueGamer: Does Sonic Really Need To Be Fixed?

Adam Blue from BlueGamer.net discusses Sonic's fate in the current gaming market: "Sonic 2005 had terrible controls, graphic glitches, and a sloppy camera. It's those elements the made the game turn out poor, and just left a bad taste in every gamers mouth. Now, how that could have happened after the Adventure series is unknown. Did the team have limited funding? Were they rushed? In the end, it wasn't worth it and now we're stuck with dual personalities."

Sonic isn't the problem

People, side characters( unimportant, NON-interesting side characters), Earth , lame story...and much much more are the problem.

Sonic can have a voice but keep it limited or whatever he says is about being awesome and not some lame chilly-dog BS.
And DR.Eggman(Robotnik) has an IQ of ...to much....and yet he is that stupid not being able to defeat sonic.

Sheesh sega.

I agree with you sidar, voices generally are not the problem sooner or later they will grow on people anyway. The main problem is the stories so far and I say this to include the NPC characters as you have stated which are generally unimportant, and even the play style sometimes.

Sonic Unleashed had some fun daytime levels, though the nighttime made no sense even though I got to the last before I just gave up (had to get a whole more medals and stuff).

I'd say made a blend of what Sonic 2 and 3 was with some of the stories from Unleashed (maybe?) with Sonic Adventure.

Edit - Also yes that is true about Eggman (Robotnik) his I.Q. is high enough to build a whole battalion in a day it seems, but he miscalculates quite a few times, which is quite interesting.

From the mid-1980s to the early part of the 2000s, light gun rail shooters were a staple in both arcade and home system gaming. Arguably, the genre started to really hit its stride in the mid-1990s. While games like Time Crisis, Virtual Cop, and House of the Dead, among others, dominated both the home system and arcade space, some one relegated to only home game systems. Today, we’ll be talking about a little-known cult game published by Sony called Project: Horned Owl. This game was developed by Alfa Systems, and all in all, this is a fun game.
