THIS MOVIE going to be the BOMB!! i just happen to have pair of "real D 3D glasses" viewing the teaser trailer on my 52 in. flat screen tv and the scenery is off the chain!! the slow motion action, the guy falls off the light cycle,and seeing the light more visually crisp, jeff bridges reprise his role. the 3D really pulls you in making you think could this be really possible one day..... day one for me.

Yeah right...
RealD Cinema uses special silver screens and push-pull electro-optical modulators placed in front of the projector lens. I doubt you have that. Or a digital 3D source of the trailer for that mater.

in the 80's they have 20 years of computer upgrades your going to tell me Mario hasn't upgraded from moving only left and right with the option of jumping. video games improve, undoubtedly they came up with a more maneuverable light cycle.

If you remember in the original Tron, when they broke out of the light cycle arena they could also move freely. Its only when they are playing within the light cycle arena that they are restricted to 90 degree movements and since there is no grid on the floor in the trailer, i think that they're not within the light cycle arena

dude I was talking about watching the trailer that is linked on this nut job site. recently I seen Disney movie "UP" in 3D held onto the
"BLACK GLASSES" on the side it say "real D" 3D glasses. since none of you guys dont have those glasses right now you cant say Im hilusinating my statement. since I have them I can surely tell you 1,000 percent the trailer looks awesome!!!

Good point. I'm just afraid they're going to do the Hollywood "enhancements" (i.e. bigger, faster and more) and completely ruin it.

Even if you have the correct glasses you still need a proper digital cinema projector, a silver screen, a push-pull electro-optical modulator and you need to get hold of a 3D source of the trailer. Does are only distributed by the film company to 3D cinemas.

They're texture mapping the actors face onto the CGI model in an flat method to show that it is not the actual person.

completely altered the way I looked at movies. I freakin' loved it as a kid, and this sequel should be amazing. I read that they have a budget of $300 million for this film!! The young Jeff Bridges at the end is truly remarkable -- it's got to be surreal seeing yourself look young again.
