GameSpot: WireWay Hands-On

GameSpot writes: "WireWay is something we'd like to keep a closer eye on. There are other modes and features that we haven't had a chance to try out yet, so we're eager to get more time with all this springboard action. The cute and simple presentation works really well, and even though we didn't pay close attention to Wiley and his cheerful banter, we imagine that his quest to go home will be an endearing one. Look for WireWay when it is released on the DS this fall".

N-Sider: WireWay Review

Because of its issues, N-Sider hesitates to recommend WireWay to all but the most hardcore of niche-game explorers. There's still fun to be had here, both in some levels where it's clear where you're going and it's just you and how complete your understanding of the physics standing in your way, as well as the aforementioned boss battles which really stand out. But the frustrations just mounted too often and too much for them to call WireWay a consistently entertaining game.

Kombo: WireWay Review

WireWay is a platform puzzle game from Konami. It is a quirky, hyper kinetic game that follows the mischievous adventure of Wiley and Refresh as they flick their way toward their goal of obtaining Elan. The game uses the DS touchpad to send Wiley flying around levels where you have to collect objects, avoid obstacles and find the finish line.
