Divinity 2 could be Larian Studios' final fantasy

Larian Studios can be considered the pride of the Belgian gaming scene with such games as Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity. Divinity 2: Ego Draconis is also nearly amongst us. Despite good reviews and likewise sales, it's always risky to start a new game. Swen Vincke, boss at Larian Studios, was able to answer a few questions concerning the game and its possible effect on the future of the company.

And I was just b!tchin' an hour or so ago about how there was an RPG famine going on this year.

Picking this up for sure.

The first 2 Divinity games - Divine and Beyond Divinity - were excellent, if technically unimpressive. This iteration seems to have fixed that issue.

It seems like when formerly PC centric developers who could do lower risk cheaper to develop PC only games move to doing multiplatform games it nearly kills them from the higher cost.
