SEGA has announced its bringing Sonic Rush Adventure - a follow-up to 2005's Sonic Rush - to DS later this year, including new elements such as 3D vehicle sections and boss battles that span both screens.
This latest Sonic game sees the blue hedgehog taking to the high-seas and fending off a ruthless bands of pirates, led by the not particularly evil-sounding Captain Whiskers, in a search for valuable treasure.
Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "The recent launch of Sonic Mania has reminded us dear reader that yes, there are good Sonic games out there. I know, I know, we’ve been burned so many times before, but it’s true – good Sonic games do exist. And so, in celebration of the first great Sonic game since we all thought we looked good in those turquoise and purple spring jackets we here at Link-Cable decided to bust out our boomboxes and hit the streets in our freshest kicks! ‘Wait? What?’ ‘We decided to count down the best Sonic games instead?’ ‘But I just found six D batteries for this thing!’ ‘Ugh, fine here are the Top 10 Best Sonic Games.’"
SuperPhillip Central writes, "Amidst all of this Nintendo Wii U coverage, I have something that I hope doesn't get lost in the shuffle. Why, it's the fifth and final set of ten of The 50 Best Nintendo DS Games. We've gone through forty of the top titles of what I consider to be the greatest handheld of all time. Now, we have reached the home stretch. It's all smooth sailing from here. If one of your favorite DS games has yet to be listed, perhaps it will be a part of these final ten games! As a reminder, no non-North American releases will be represented on this list. There are great games that missed a North American release date, and seeing as the majority of DS systems out there aren't region-locked, be sure to track some down, too. With that out of the way, let's get to the final ten!"
I'd definitely say Golden Sun: Dark Dawn was one of the best games for the DS.
Chris Buffa (Modojo): For the most part, multi-platform franchises always fare better on consoles, where developers take advantage of advanced processing power to display superior graphics.
