In the battle for console ascendancy, Sony’s current generation PlayStation 3 has yet to measure up to the lofty standards of its predecessor, the PlayStation 2. According to industry sales tracking site VGChartz, the PS3 installed base is approximately 40% of that for the Wii and 70% of that for the Xbox 360.
