New Capcom game is NOT Onimusha

Many were lead to believe that a new Onimusha game was soon to be revealed by capcom especially since the supposedly Onimusha time line date appeared " 1560 " .A new website from capcom shows that its not related to Onimusha but to Sengoku Basara.

They are a lot more credible than a lot of the other sites that get approved for this website.

I feel o all the titles languishing in the depths of Capcom's vaults DC is the one that would benefit most from the boost in hardware this gen. Current gen Dino Crisis would look stunning judging by the LP2 vids we've seen and after the terrible last outing the series needs a reboot-what better time?

Jesus, even a remake of DC1 and 2 would be incredible these days. Preferably, I'd like them to wipe the last game from history and release a real DC3!

Onimusha was one of my favorite series on the ps2. They were all awesome.
Onimusha 1 with Samanusuke.
Onimusha 2 with Jubei.
Onimusha 3 with Samanusuke & The guy from the movie, "The Professional.
Onimusha 4 Dawn of Dreams with my favorite of them all, "Soki The Black Oni". Pure badazz and would wipe the floor with ryu hayabusa.

Its still very possible - Onimusha takes place in 16th century

- "The story begins in 1560 with a battle between the forces of Yoshimoto Imagawa and Nobunaga of the Oda clan in a huge field. Historically, this is the battle of Okehazama. Samanosuke is seen overlooking the battlefield on top of a mountain when some Oda soldiers come to take his life."

So eh...1560 is almost iconic to Onimusha series....its Onimusha almost certain.
