1UP writes: "When Will Wright first talked about his plans for Spore, he set expectations so high that no game could’ve possibly lived up to the hype. Spore was a good game, but instead of doing one or two things really well, it was more like several decent games tossed together. Spore’s recent expansion, Galactic Adventures, adds but a little more of the same — it’s an addition that rises above mediocrity, but still doesn’t lift Spore to the level of grandiosity Will Wright projected."
