How to fix sport games

With NHL just ended (ARGHrrrrrr Penguins) and NBA Final game 5 starting tonight (Wooot Lakers 3-1), lets talk about sport games.
Sport game come out every year at the same price as other regular games, while there is slight improvement in game play and graphic. I do not think it justify the hefty 59$ price tag. I love NHL09, and NBA2k9, both EA and 2K really did great on those games; however, it can be better.
