ErfWorld is a free, online, story-driven fantasy/comedy graphic novel about a master strategy gamer stuck in a wargame. It is set in 'Erfworld', a fantasy world that adheres to the rules of a turn-based strategy game. It is expertly illustrated, with a unique and gripping story encompassing references to strategy and RPG gaming, as well as a variety of internet memes.
It was named one of the top 10 graphic novels by Time Magazine in 2007, and recently completed it's first book. The second book is currently set to begin in the Fall.
I know this may not technically be considered very "gaming related", but it borrows heavily from strategy games and I highly recommend it.
