Rumour: L4D2 to go to the PS3?

After much speculation Rockstar came out of the woodwork and stated that their upcoming game ‘Agent’ was a PS3 exclusive for one reason, it is a new IP. Rockstar went on to say that when trying to start a new IP, they need as much support as they can get, and that by going platform exclusive they get alot of first party support for their game, helping it establish itself as a series.

Epic Games also took a similar approach with Gears of War, the first new IP out of Epic in nearly a decade, they went to Microsoft to get support for their product, with the collosus just throwing money at everything, Gears of War firmly established itself as a respectable game series.
