A portion of the audience reading this review will have seen the legendary Ghostbusters movie from 1984, even if you aren't old enough to have been around when it was first released. The new game from Atari is damned good fun and is set to appeal to a huge cross section of the gaming audience - especially as it is based on a possible forthcoming third movie in the franchise.
Matt writes: "10 years ago Ghostbusters The Video Game was released on Xbox 360. A decade later the remaster has been released. We review Saber Interactive's latest game."
WTMG's Todd Eggleston: "Ghostbusters The Video Game is nostalgia done right, and puts you right back in 1984. It isn’t a masterpiece of a game, and neither was the movie, but it reminds us again that it is ok for entertainment to just be entertaining. It is a game that deserves to be remastered and remembered. And 35 years later, it also serves to remind us that a remaster doesn’t always need to be Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliott. Sometimes, Ray Parker Jr. is exactly who you need to call."
Joseph, Josh, and Chris discuss Fortnite Season 2, Okami 2, and the continuing Blizzard controversy.
Phew I'm relieved.
definite rent. wow. looks good. i don't think it's long enough for me to be throwing 60 bucks down on though. maybe i'll trade in inFAMOUS for it...
Not bad. Not bad at all (despite the fact the Xbot butt-buddies would like you to think anything below a 90 is a complete waste of time...unless of course it is an Xbox 360 exclusive like Ninja Blade)
I'm gonna predict 75% meta.
Not flaming the game or anything I just think that is what it'll be.
Still its one of the best on movie based games around I guess seen the scores it got up till now!
