DJ HERO FOOTAGE REVEALED

The first first footage of DJ Hero has been posted and you can find it here or hop on over to Joystiq to see what people have to say. It doesn’t show a demonstration on how to play the game, but you do see some game footage. As a former DJ, I really can’t find an interest in the game, but would like to see someone playing it. To me it’s just another game with a peripheral.

Good news! GameTrailers just saved us a trip to LA by going ahead and having its own E3 tonight. Case in point: here’s the first footage of DJ Hero, which reveals a much more … seemingly strip-club-oriented game than we expected. Maybe it’s just for the purposes of this trailer, but is every DJ avatar going to be a scantily-clad woman (or DJ Shadow)? Will go-go dancers figure significantly into the gameplay?

The trailer also features one of the game’s vaunted mashups, a pastiche of Gwen Stefani’s "Hollaback Girl" with Rick James’s "Give It to Me Baby." It’s … the least annoying that "Hollaback Girl" has ever been, we’ll say that much. The trailer is after the break.
