If you've been thirsting for a puzzle title on Xbox LIVE Arcade, you really can't go wrong with this playful creation. There is a ton of play time, along with local and Xbox LIVE multiplayer support, as well as the promise of downloadable content. Sometimes the difficulty of Puzzle Mode will get you down, but it's a sidebar to what the game has to offer as a whole. Spend those points.

If you are a fan of puzzle titles and want something to play around with for a few minutes then this game will certainly be worth a look. No current game quite understands that concept like Gel: Set & Match, Gastronaut's latest puzzler creation where matching four-like colors is what it's all about. The graphics are nothing to write home about and in-game sounds don't spark you to tap your toes, but the fact the title takes complete advantage of what XBox Live has to offer, it's completely worth your time."
Puzzle games work best when they're so simple that you can tell what's going on just by looking at the screen. The general idea here is to set small coloured blocks of gel disintegrating in a colourful range of scenarios and levels. Your little alien is forced to run around and clear paths, score points, explode obstacles all with the blocks. The trick is to start as many chain reactions as possible and it's extremely fun.
