Where are all the Metal Gear Rising believers? Hopefully now you'll realize that this IS Big Boss and he's looking quite young in comparison to how he appears in Guns of the Patriots. Matter of fact, he's even wearing the uniform he was given at the end of Snake Eater. This could mean that we'll be looking at a sequel to MGS3, which cancels out Raiden.

Two games are coming - One PSP and one PS3. That is why people are being confused. One game is a Raiden title and one is a title that fleshes out more of the Big Boss story.

And Big Boss is by far the most interesting and tragic character in the Metal Gear universe.

Btw, on Big Boss' hat is written "Militaires Sans Frontières", which means in french "Militaries Without Frontier". And the letters, P, R, E and S point to the full word: SERPENT, which means in french... SNAKE.

People are trying to fit together Raiden and a young looking Big Boss, but why do they have to? Perhaps, half of the game will take place in the past as Big Boss and the other half will fill in the story of Raiden pre-4, and they'll converge to tie up some loose ends we didn't know about. MGS4 was split into several chapters, so why can't this?

Just brainstorming, I guess. Wish I could read the damn Famitsu article...

I think that's a fantastic idea, I also noted that Big Boss wasn't wearing the emblem of FOX or FOXHOUND, but Outer Heaven. Maybe the game skips between the two time periods, Raiden's rescue of Sunny and Big Boss's war with Zero.

In all honesty, I would rather it stay on the PS3 but I am not a PS3 fanboy. I own both systems and play both fairly equally. The reason I enjoy it on the PS3 so much is because that is the system which the "Metal Gear Solid" series was pioneered on (not Metal Gear, that was NES/MSX).

It will never go to the 360. You may retaliate by saying "Hey, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance was on the original Xbox"... yes, that is true, but that is also the only Metal Gear Solid game that was ever on the Xbox, and there hasn't been any indication that any MGS game will go to the 360/next Xbox either. Kojima is a PS3 fan, not a 360 fan. You can buy Konami, but you can't buy Kojima. That's just not happening.

All you 360 fanboys can whine and complain about how it should be on the 360, and have all of these extraordinary hopes and dreams of how it will eventually come to the 360... but it won't. Be realistic here. It will not. The 360 can not handle the amount of information being placed into the games. Think about it, the information for MGS4 could barely fit on a BluRay disc. Do you know how many discs it would take to support an MGS game on the 360? A lot. Kojima isn't going to sacrifice quality just to make it on a different system.

MGS5 will continue from the last MGS4. It will use flashbacks to allow the player to play old areas of the MGS franchise and allow for more in depth understanding of the game.( Hence the storms: Flashbacks ) Snake and Raiden will be playable characters throughout MGS5 and allow players much more freedom in character control and environmental amazements with Hideo producing an all new software that will reach the truth potential of the PS3's hardware. There will be 'no' 360 port of MGS5 or MGS4. Its not possible, the console cannot cope with the power which is needed for MGS, even the AI is to complicated to port. Will not happen!
