Konami & Hudson bring their quirky title to US shores, but how does it fare? Find out if it's worth the effort with the full ZTGD review of Kororinpa: Marble Mania for the Nintendo Wii.
In the light of recent controversy over the takedown of Flappy Bird, which allegedly happened as a result of incessant hate-mail pertaining to the hours gamers ‘wasted’ trying to beat the incredibly difficult mechanic, I thought it would be interesting to take a look at some of the most frustrating games I’ve come across.
Someone needs to play more games. Things like Ninja Gaiden, Spelunky, Spelunker and a number of games are a bit more frustrating than most of these games.
I find the only games that get me shouting and swearing at the TV are COD games - just because how unfair they often feel. Like "no way did he just take 4 bullets in the head and still fucking knife me"
Actually I used to scream at Lara Croft back in the PS1 days, clumsy bitch.
Might as well add Vanquish to that list. Goodness that game was frustrating, mostly due to the seemingly never-ending boss fights that were all to frequent. And even worse when several bosses were lined up for you one after another with no saving in-between, and each boss had several different transformations you had to go through.
Add insult to injury is that the game saves very seldom, so if you die (easy to do if you make even the smallest mistake) you have to re-do a large chunk of the level. I think I ended up sacrificing a controller after spending 45 minuets playing a level then dying seconds before beating the frustratingly annoying boss... and I had to do it all over again (another 45 mins each time) at least 3 more times before finally beating him. I cursed the Japanese developers quite lot while playing that game, and I am surprised I stuck with it and beat it. But let me tell you, the Japanese sure know how to make a game extremely frustrating.
Also Ninja Gaiden Sigma was pretty tough too.
PixlBit | "Unsung Wii games… where do you even start? Just about everything that came out on the Wii that wasn’t a major blockbuster went relatively unnoticed. Having written for a Nintendo-only site for a number of years, I had a unique opportunity to play many games that were off the radar for most Wii owners.
Due to its lack of graphical prowess and unique control scheme, most core gamers directed their attention elsewhere for their gaming experiences, whether it be their Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, or PC. Sure, all walks of gamer hit their local store for Twilight Princess & Skyward Sword, Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, No More Heroes, and Mario Kart Wii, but how many really sought out titles like Excitebots or Little King’s Story? Not many, if sales are any indication.
While the definition of “unsung” is somewhat relative, I’ve pared down my list to just games that didn’t see much commercial success or much coverage from the large-scale gaming media. With seventeen titles/series on the list, there’s plenty for you to play on your motion-control enabled console before you decide to kick it to the wolves at Gamestop."
This list is one of the best I've seen. All of these games mentioned are quality, must have titles for any Wii library collection. The author clearly understands what is fun and makes a great gaming experience.
So many great games there that sadly a lot of people will never play. The fact that the Wii has so many unsung gems is one of the reasons it's the best console of this generation unfortunately most people don't see it.
let's not forget MADWORLD, AND THE TRAUMA CENTER GAMES, THESE were the best wii games out there. I hope wii u versions are on the way.. can you imagine doing surgery, with the game bad like and x ray machine? wow! i hope some one listens to me!

There are three things in life that are inevitable – death, taxes, and a new Bomberman game from Hudson Soft. It should come as no surprise whatsoever, then, to find out that the 3DS will be receiving an instalment of the multiplayer bombing series.
If you’ve never played, heard of, or seen a Bomberman (or Dyna Blaster) game before, then I’m not sure what you’re doing on a gaming website. The series first appeared in 1983 and has received a new instalment almost every subsequent year, barely altering the almost-perfect multiplayer while attempting various changes to the single-player mode.
