Um i think you need to refer back to the game mate. Even if it wasn't a direct jab at the dvd9 and it's limited space, Kojima still made it clear that Blu Ray does not require a disk change. That is the real issue here bud.

I also just recently found out that Epic is the reason the MS implemented a 512mb CPU. Before some serious insistence by Epic Games they were going to have the 360 have a 256mb CPU.

Hey, MGS wasn't exclusive last gen. MGS2 came out on the xbox too and it sold insanely horribly thus the reason Konami skipped a multiplat for MGS3 on the xbox. So now, maybe they've forgotten the pain they went through for MGS2 but it is certain that if MGS4 goes to the 360 it will not be the same game. There will be a heck of a lot of stuff taken out even with it being on multiple discs.

this is what kills me about MS and their fanboys, last night I was playing gears 2 horde mode. guess what? its a very fun game and the graphics are good enough where you can immerse yourself in the experience. That's ALL any console or software maker can ask for. That being said it seems having good titles OF THEIR OWN on the 360 is not good enough for MS and their fanboys. This is not about delivering a fun experience for microsoft but instead dominating and crushing all competition because thats the only they know how to do business. It's a really sad statement on what motivates a company like that to get into gaming. Reeves said it himself before he left SCEE "there is enough room for everybody and we're happy to see MS grow the market" to paraphrase. Imagine a world where two competing consoles have UNIQUE libraries?? Who wouldn't buy both at that point?

For me I actually want as many exclusive's as possible. I like the idea of games/series like Gears,Halo to remain with Xbox 360 and 720 for the future. Not at all, Kojima does not owe anything to anyone nor does any other developer. This false sense of entitlement is alarming, Kojima announces a game, releases it and thats it. When you purchase one of his games you do not enter into a ever lasting relationship with Kojima where his next games are promised to you. While nobody knows what platforms his new game will be on, if it is 360 exclusive it isn't a slap to ps3 owners since he never promised you that game. This sense of loyalty and entitlement is annoying.

I think people fail to see games as products. They get far too attached and get too emotionally invested. Truth is that games are nothing more than products you buy, you dont owe anything to game companies or developers, and they dont owe you anything. They can develop and release games on whatever platform they want releasing a kojima 360 exclusive isnt a slap to the face of ps3 owners its just business and if the ps3 doesnt have this game its Sonys fault for not forking over some money to secure it.

:). Nothing against Sony and the PS3, but MGS4 is the most ridiculously hyped "game" that I have ever seen. Even worse than Halo 3. The ratio of cutscene time to gameplay time in MGS4 is like 3 to 1. And yes, I watched the entire walkthrough and the guy playing the game (who adored Kojima) said the same thing. Like, WTF, crawl from point A to point B and watch Drebin talk for 20 minutes. As far as polish goes, MGS4 is the most polished game I have seen, but as far as being a game goes, it falls into the category of interactive movie in my book. And nobody from the 360 side actually wants MGS4 to play it, they just want to brag about it being on 360.

Whether its MGS 360 or MGS5 or anything else, Kojima have been teasing this game spreading rumors here and there, spreading even more rumors here and there, and teasing an MGS using the Xbox 360 power button logo.

If you see a rumor about Resistance coming to 360, it would just get shot down, but honestly Kojima are the only ones causing all these articles, you saw that MS E3 conference date? Probably just a "typo" to refer to the PS3 conference date, thus a thousand articles come out just regarding those small date digits alone.

JRPG's are incredible...but no JRPG on the 360 has really been...well...good. IU was alright. The storyline was good...but it didn't really make up for the gameplay.

Honestly, White Knight Chronicles is coming out this year and I'm pretty sure Dark Cloud 3 will be announced. All I'm saying is...wait. The PS3 is getting Versus XIII.

A lot of PS3 fanboys criticize the 360 by saying EPIC said Gears maxed out on 360, but they have dismissed the fact that Kojima himself said he was disappointed with the limitations of the PS3. He maxed out the 50 gigs and said there was more stuff he wanted to put on. PS3 fanboys don't like to hear that. Personally, I think Kojima made a stupid mistake by adding all of those long superfluous cutscenes with Drebin. No one wanted or even needed to see those. There are much more efficient ways of telling a story than with cutscenes and Kojima proves to me that he is not a master storyteller when he wastes 50 gigs on extended BS, literally monkey business. Makes the 360 look pretty bad too but I think most developers have found a way of working around the 7 gigs of the 360. They just don't make their games as long.

Anygame that is on the 360 is actually smaller then it's ps3 counterpart, check out the same demo for both systems, 360 versions are smaller.

At this moment in time, as far as i know, 360 had more compression techniques. Plus you have to remember that cutscenes and full uncompressed audio take alot of that space.

I'd have alot more respect for MGS4 if it had streamed straight from blu-ray. Instead of installs for the chapters.
