Spawn Kill Review: Klonoa
Klonoa (pronounced "Kluh-NO-uh"). No, it’s not a scary new venereal disease that’s spreading across college campuses nationwide (although it does kind of sound like one, I guess). It is an interesting new platformer for the Nintendo Wii from Namco/Bandai. Though, one should note that the game is not entirely new – it’s actually a remake of a 1997 game released for the Sony Playstation. It’s also the name of the main protagonist, a weird… cat-like thing with super huge ears and a wicked sweet Pac-Man hat. Is the release of Klonoa just Namco/Bandai milking an old franchise and trying to appeal to a broader new audience on the Wii? More than likely – however, was the game good enough to merit a couple stateside sequels, as it has over in Japan?
