Wow they great job optimizing this very low REQ.

N4g_null5872d ago

WOW CPU: Intel Pentium4 2.0GHz or higher.... The larrabee will have SPEs that are pentium 4s. Do you know how much it cost to build a pen 4 system, peanuts. Man I can't wait for next gen to come. This game was not optimized it runs on a PC in the arcade also. Now if they let you mode it this would be really sweet. I can make a bad a$$ hulk!

Gitaroo5873d ago

suprise its so low, mean my PC can run it at 1080p

socomnick5873d ago

"Load times come in at a blistering 8 seconds from when you select the level to play to in game match on the Xbox360. But when it came to the PS3 times more then doubled. The average load time from level select to in game match was over 20 seconds. While these numbers aren’t huge, it can certainly add up over time and matches since we’re sure you won’t be playing only one match."

"When it comes to quality SF4 is top notch but once again the PS3 got gimped. To start with the PS3 only supported up to 720p while the Xbox 360 could perform at 1080p, upscaled of course. While in game we noticed that the PS3 had no anti-aliasing. Jaggies were everywhere and it wasn’t pretty nor acceptable. It was also noted that certain textures were blurry on the PS3 although characters were not affected. Our biggest issue came from boats in the background not casting shadows. We couldn’t explain it."

Mindboggle5873d ago

You wasted your time as we're really not interested

Does anyone know if an Amd 2ghz processor would be run it aswell

kevin11125873d ago

we all know the ps3 has more power than the 360,its common knowledge. how long are you gonna keep spewing ur nonsense.

free2game3655873d ago

@ all of you, the only thing more powerful on the PS3 is the CPU, the PS3 has less memory available and a weaker GPU along with a worse graphics API on top of it.

commodore645872d ago

@ socomnick

Thanks for posting the facts.

Just because some people prefer not to hear the facts, doesn't make them any less true.

"Any differences between the PS3 and Xbox 360 version are negligible, as well, with the only advantage being the PS3's more flexible D-pad versus the stiffer 360 counterpart." 1UP

"The game runs brilliantly on either console, but to get the PS3 up to quick load times, you'll need to perform the optional install. If you do install the game, the versions are nearly identical, though the PS3 benefits from the vastly superior D-pad on the DualShock." IGN

"Whether PS3 or Xbox 360, the game is pure high-end, current-gen bliss." Gamezone

"From our extensive play on both platforms, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game appear identical both in terms of visuals and performance. Even during the most frenetic battles, the frame rate remained solid. Both versions of SFIV offer an optional hard-drive installation, and though it lowered load times from about 30 seconds per game to the 10-second mark on the PlayStation 3, on the Xbox 360 it had no tangible effect." Gamespot

So, let's see. We've got one site no one's ever heard of claiming the 360 version is better, like they always do, and a raft of other professional reviews claiming the only difference is the PS3's superior D-Pad. But you pick the opinion you want to believe and label it the "facts"?

Like the majority of mulitconsole releases, no discernable difference. I'll pick the version that runs on stable hardware, thanks.

commodore645871d ago (Edited 5871d ago )

Yes darkrider, you keep repeating yourself.

Even in the face of another gimped ps3 release.
Yessir... Gimped. (not my words)

So, let's look at the facts: (PS3 SF4)
- no AA
- Jaggies
- blurry textures
- no shadows
- longer load times unless installed

Yes, you're right. There is no difference at all.
Perhaps if I keep repeating it, it will stay true for as long as i deny all evidence to the contrary?

But then, that would be brainwashing?

;)

Anon19745871d ago (Edited 5871d ago )

And you provide a quote from, who? Some guy off your street? Where's that quote from?

And, better yet, how on earth can IGN, Gamespot, Gamezone, 1UP, etc all say the games are identical, how can 60 reviewers give the PS3 version of the game a higher metacritic score if the PS3 version is "gimped"? Do you just think those other 60 reviews just simply missed that one version was "gimped" over the other? Or is it more likely that your one off source is the one that should be questioned?

Use your head a bit, man. I'm not saying anything that can't be easily verified by anyone with a working internet connection.

I want you to come out and admit it. All those review sites are wrong. This source I have is the only one who got it right and noticed the PS3 version is gimped. Because that's what you're saying here. I want to see you type it. Gamespot, IGN, 1UP, Gamezone and all those other 60 reviews that gave the PS3 version of SF4 reviews from perfect scores down to 80 are all wrong - and the version is actually gimped. Just say it if that's what you believe.

How do you expect to be taken seriously when you're so blatantly cherry-picking your reviews. Man, why even be a gamer? If all you do is live to bash another console, why bother? You're not being open minded, your just missing out on all the great games the other console has to offer. It's clear you don't want to believe anything but the worst. It just makes me sad.

commodore645871d ago

Well I hate to say it, darkie, but cherrypicking is what you seem to do best.

But yeah.
A Pot and a kettle. and some black.

bubbles up, darkie.

I love the wording!

If your PC has higher specs than these maximum specs, the game will not run...

=P

badz1495873d ago

but do we need to pay for scam DLC for this?

evrfighter5873d ago

thats the great thing about pc gaming. You don't have to pay for the additional scams. Dev's know this. they might try but torrents will always win.

How Street Fighter IV Saved 2D Fighting Games (Ft. Maximilian Dood)

After Street Fighter II released in in 1991, it caused a fighting game explosion, both in arcades and in home consoles. But, as the decade ended, and arcades were failing, so too were 2D Fighting games. This is how Street Fighter IV completely revitalized the genre.

Snookies12726d ago

I'd say Blazblue helped too. Didn't care for Street Fighter 4, but Blazblue was amazing during that time. Sad that the series kind of went downhill after the first 2 or 3 games though.

DarXyde725d ago

BlazBlue was phenomenal. Platinum'd Calamity Trigger because I loved it so much. I remember buying Continuum Shift back in the day at launch for like $40. They did have DLC characters (Valkenhayne, Makoto, and Platinum at the time) and it came out to just a tad more than it would at full price. Didn't mind at all.

Great fighting game.

Snookies12725d ago

Continuum Shift was definitely my favorite. Spent way too many hours on that game, haha... Had the counters for days with Hakumen.

DarXyde725d ago

I really like Makoto, Valkenhayne, and Hazama. Super fun characters

Terry_B725d ago

Valkenhayn ..just sayin'

Terry_B726d ago

BlazBlue was the much better, more technical game..and a real 2D Fighting Game after all. But yes, since it was a big name..the characters were still popular and the game itself was good, SFIV indeed helped a lot. However, I am pretty sure the much better-selling Mortal Kombat 9 would have been done without SFIV as well..and that one truly helped to make the fighting game genre in general more popular again.

Ryuha1234h725d ago

You’re sound dumb. Blazblue was not better than sf4. You’re just saying that because you’re a street fighter hater.

Redgrave725d ago

>calls someone dumb
>does it by saying "you're sound dumb"

Task failed successfully

Terry_B725d ago

A SF Hater eh? Fight me in SF 2,3 4 or 5 and you will regret that stupid comment ;)

gold_drake725d ago (Edited 725d ago )

eyyy max xD

one of the very few streamers i can actually watch without it being cringe and awful ha.

GhostScholar725d ago

The content of IV was severely lacking when it launched. It got better over time.

Street Fighter Producer Says Fans Need To "Convince" Nintendo, If They Want More Entries On Switch

they botched SFV so bad, just start over, make a new version with proper single player mode and fully fleshed out with support for all of the consoles this time.

King92057d ago (Edited 2057d ago )

Gamer7804@ they already did kinda it call sf5ae it help sf5 sell like another 2 million copies.

Teflon022056d ago

SFV is actually great now. Bunch of modes, bunch of characters, alot of stages, not sure what else there is to even complain about. Costume MTX? Not a issue imo, I don't get what I don't want anyways

gamer78042056d ago

botched launch, and they launched only on one console and currently after a long time still on one console.

Enigma_20992057d ago

Did you see how Ultra and the Collection sold? We don't need to convince Nintendo of anything. Just put it on the console.PHYSICALLY.

King92057d ago

Enigma_2099@ they probably have to make a new sf game just for the switch they probably will need Nintendo to help fund it just like sony help fund sf5.

PhoenixUp2057d ago

You’re not seeing Street Fighter V come to other platforms besides PC because Sony helped co-fund the game so it’s staying only on PS4 & PC

NapalmSanctuary2056d ago (Edited 2056d ago )

Don't know why anybody would want SF5 on Switch. Especially if they owned a Switch.

rainslacker2057d ago

That doesn't makes sense. Is Nintendo saying that Capcom can't publish the game on the system because it's users don't want the game? if so, that's really stupid of them, because why should they care?

Nintendo isn't saying such things of course.

Capcom shouldn't pass the buck. If they don't want to make more SF games on the Switch, then just say so, and say why.

If they want Nintendo to fund the project, then they are the ones that need to convince Nintendo to give them money.
