E3 rumors – Metal Gear Solid 4 + Oxide
News slipped today on Twitter about a new Metal Gear Solid game titled MGS4 + Oxide slated as an exclusive release on the 360. This new is obviously very suspect coming from a user named Game Fork who has entered no bio and has only made fifteen previous posts at the time of writing. The majority of said posts however refer to E3, mostly regarding Microsoft’s press conference and line up.

If the news is accurate it could lead too some rather interesting discussions on some of the more… aggressive forums. Losing MGS an exclusive title would be a big blow to many PS3 fan-boys who have long stated (along with Kojima) that the game would be impossible on the MS system. Therefore if this does turn out to be true it will be fun to see if any concessions will have to be made for the game to be bought over.
Looking at past MGS titles of course a re-released with extra content is probably on the cards either way. In the modern console age however maybe what we are looking at is an exclusive release for 360 with DLC to bring the extra content to the PS3 version.
