Confirmed: 3D Realms All Outta Gum
As confirmed on the official forums by the company’s (former) webmaster, 3D Realms has shut its doors. This effectively ends development on Duke Nukem Forever and sends magazine editorial teams scrambling to find a new source of never ending April Fools’s day jokes.
The closure has obviously pissed off staff greatly, and there are already posts starting to appear that try to quantify the level of fail behind the Duke Nukem Forever development process. The long-running Duke Nukem Forever List website has included one such post (unfortunately unattributed) that lays blame on poor procedures.
