Ve3tro writes: "Valkyria Chronicles remains, to date, one of the freshest attempts at reinvigorating Strategy RPGs since Final Fantasy Tactics helped to make them all the rage way back when. A unique combination of traditional RPG, turn based and third person shooter elements, the game was grounded in a wholly original visual style and setting more reminiscent of WWII then the cut and paste sword of sorcery that many of it's more generic cousins cling to.
Essentially, Valkyria Chronicles is exactly what fans of the genre needed, and yet, almost none of them bought the thing.
