UK Sales Chart FULL TOP 40 – Week ending 2nd May
Logan’s claws are no match for Wii Fit’s….. balancing, as X-Men Origins: Wolverine is denied the top-spot by the continuing success of Nintendo’s fitness title, which celebrates its fifth consecutive week at No.1.
Sales of Wii Fit are only up by 115 copies since last week, but it still managed to outsell Wolverine by a ratio of 1.7 to 1. However, Activision’s comic-book brawler does launch ahead of a resurgent FIFA 09, which improved sales by 28% since last week.
The X-men film tie-in was also the best-selling game on both Xbox 360 and PS3 this week, with 51% of units on Xbox 360 and 39% on PS3, (the remaining 10% is spread over last-gen consoles, handhelds and PC).
