PC Format: Oblivion novels and Rogue Warrior

PC Format reports on the Bethesda event last week (embargoed until today). Its latest giddying announcements concern a couple of Oblivion tie-in novels and action-adventure game: "The first Oblivion novel, The Infernal City – by Star Wars spin-off scribe Greg Keyes – takes place after the events of the game, and sees a mysterious city levitating over Tamriel, killing everyone who falls in its shadow … Rogue Warrior, sees an incredibly sweary Mickey Rourke voicing uber-bearded former Navy SEAL Dick Marcinko (beard envy!) on an operation to stop an arms deal between North Korea and Russia … It seems to be going for a Splinter Cell/Metal Gear Solid approach, with Dick stealthily approaching villans and then gorily dispatching them."
