Haha, I logged in JUST FOR this story. This game raised me on multi-player I remember playing on a 56k connection when it was still one of the best ways to use the internet and playing AVP1. Probably one of the best and most underrated multiplayer games of ALL TIME and to see it come back to it's Rebellion roots gives me tears of joy. I will be buying this day one, don't care if it's a flop. I musta played AVP over 300-400 hours.

I was there, day one, for the Jaguar version (don't laugh). Loved the PC original but found the sequal a bit rubbish for some reason. Definately interested in this one though!

It certainly has been under my radar, I'll have to keep my eyes on this one at least. It's been a while since I've played an AvP game.

God... I still play Aliens vs Predator 2 on the PC and downloaded every good mod there is. As long as they keep the action intense like 2, then everything will be golden.

Yeah but my graphics card at the time had problems playing it, and by the time I got a new PC AVP2 was out. AVP made you jump more with the lights out, AVP2 wasn't like that but it had a bit more action.

I'm a big fan of the first, not such a big fan of the second. Monoliths direction just wasn't the same.

YES!! Rebellion got the license back. I found the first PC AvP to be superior to AVPII in many regards, mostly in capturing the atmosphere and feel of the original films.

Both games are a classic but when Monolith took over and changed the atmosphere to a completely cartoony setting I was heavily disappointed. I still played it but the original is truly untouchable.

When i buy a new pc i always make sure i buy the following parts beside s good CPU.

A:Lots of fast memory from latest type
B:latest GPU.

The ps3 got a horrible GPU (Radeon 6600 based) and Memory based on the failed Rambus memory.

You tell me why i would love such piece of crap.

Well i for one am very excited for this game...too bad i have to wait till 2010...i really think that 09 would have been a great year for this game.
