AppVee: Defend Your Castle Review

Defend Your Castle is a tower defense game, the type of which most of us are readily familiar with now. The object of the game is to defend your castle (that really goes without saying). To do this, players flick the assailants up into the sky and watch as their feeble bodies are crushed by gravity. Each round is governed by the sun, when it's up, they attack; when it's down, they sleep.

After each round the player is given the opportunity to buy upgrades for their castle. The Pit of Conversion will allow the player to convert enemy attackers to their side and use them for different defenses that can be bought for the castle. The gameplay works perfectly smooth on the device and really adds an interesting dynamic with the touch gameplay. The style of this app is really unique with a cardboard cutout design and a mixture of fun beatbox and epic battle music to fight to.

I prefer play the original more than this

RE3 need another remake

Why not port RE4 remake to meta quest 3?

Profchaos37d ago

Because the headset isn't capable of running it simply put it's not powerful enough.

Look at metro awakening on quest 3 that's pushing it to its extreme and it's quite far behind PC and PS for graphical capabilities.

Wow I thought they would abandon this as the sales for village and 4 were abysmal

For whatever reason and despite all evidence to the contrary, their are some companies bent on convincing themselves and others that people want to play premium games on Apple devices.

VersusDMC36d ago

It's assumed apple is paying for the ports. Apple probably paid a lump sum for all the RE games so capcom is just finishing up the contract.

Or maybe Capcom sees this as port practice for the switch 2 or these ports are what the switch 2 versions will be?
