From Software has revealed that a PSP version of Armored Core 3 is being developed and will be available in Japan in July.
The game--originally releasing on the PS2 in 2002 for Japan, North America and Europe--is said to include graphical updates along with other enhancements.
KeenGamer: "'Can Japanese developers stop making RPGs and start making shooters?' Well, they already did. These 9 third-person shooters are a glimpse into the relatively unknown world of Japanese shooters. And yes, there are no shoot-em-ups here."
Trendy Gamers: For Part 2 of our history of the Armored Core series, we’ll be looking at the early PlayStation 2-era games, starting with Armored Core 2 and going up to Silent Line: Armored Core.
The next part will feature the worst game in the series, any guesses on which one?
Gaming Nexus: Believe it or not, there are a lot of PlayStation 2 games I wouldn't mind seeing ported to the PSP. For instance, I would love to play Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 on the go. Obscure gems like Bombastic and Sky Odyssey would really shine on the small screen. And even though we already have Rock Band Unplugged, I definitely would pay money to get either Amplitude or Frequency on the PSP. Of course, there are more than a few PS2 games that don't need to hit Sony's handheld. Among them, From Software's outdated Armored Core 3."
Thats too bad...
Every week a PSP game is announced, good job Sony.
Sweet! My favorite out of the whole series... the new recent games were just weird for me. Stabilizers never fully wrapped my brain with them.
