Gran Turismo Coming to PSP This Year

Samer also quoted "The thing was that kazunori didn't like the idea of GT for the PSP, he didn't want to make a downgraded GT for the PSP".

But finally decided to release Gran Turismo afterall, so theres your big announcement for the PSP platform "GT for the PSP."

Hah, 'Agent-X's friend says it's coming'. My neighbor's, sister's, brother's, best friend's, pizza delivery guy told me that Halo Bowling is coming to the DSi. Rock solid, locked in confirmation, bank on it.

Agent-X most likely made this up in response to the whole "GT5 going multi" statement recently, and figured if he's wrong, people will chock it up to HHG being a generally horrible place to find anything but bullplop. If he ends up being right, then he'll go around claiming he's got uber1337omgwtfbbqprohax insider contacts. He's got nothing to lose.

If true, awesome. PSP is a great platform for racing games, especially since the lack of that second analog stick means virtually nothing in a racing game.

This and kingdom hearts are the only games on psp I will actually buy to support them, but im still DLing it so my battery lasts longer, game loads faster and plays smoother.

no reason why it shouldn't come out on the psp since the psp and the ps2 are so similar architecturely and there has been loads of gt games for the ps2 ..

the reason for it not coming out on the psp was political hence i do think will shouldn't dismiss this hiphop rumor

Barring the source of the info, this actually makes a lot of sense. With GT5 coming holiday 09 or Q1 2010, GT mobile would act as a perfect segway for the franchise.

but i remember they were saying GT mobile was gonna be a launch title when the psp was first released back in the day. Now they are finally saying it'll be released this year while at the same time we hear all these rumors of the psp2 being released. Polyphony sure likes to take there time eh?
