Sony should not drop the price of the PS3

I personally do not believe that Sony should drop the price of the PS3. If they do, they definitely should not match the price of the 360. A price drop will help immensely with sales because the price is a strong reason why consumers have not bought a PS3. That is very understandable especially in this recent economy. However, Sony (arrogantly some would say) is proving to us that the PS3 is not the same as its rival, the 360. I believe that Sony wants this fact to reflect in its price. You get more so why not pay more?
