Steam continues to sell broken copies of game

According to a forum thread on Steam, most, if not every, user who purchased the strategy title Earth 2160 from the digital distribution client has been unable to play their copy of the game since February of this year.

Additionally, Steam still sells the game despite the issue and it’s current broken condition caused by it. Steam’s customer support has expressed to many owners of the game that the company is "aware of the problem," but offers nothing as to if and/or when a fix will arrive.
