Wow, that's really nice. And to think that GW is free, as opposed to WoW!

Maticus5483d ago

Yeah I used to play GW any wondered why anyone would pay to play a game... then I tried WoW. 4 years later ans I'm still hooked, haven't dusted off my Guildwars account in some time now :P

Maticus5483d ago

That game looks so nice. I used to play it before WoW, but I ran out of stuff to do pretty quickly.

Fyzzu5483d ago

I love these events and celebrations. Always cool to see how the devs handle them.

Malfurion5483d ago

It's a pretty game, no doubt about it. Roll on GW2!!

AndyA5483d ago

Yeah, it's about time we had a sequel.

Maticus5483d ago

Don't expect that until next year :P

The GW team is working on Aion. So the next GW wont be out before a very, very long time. I'm hearing 2010-2011

Guild Wars team is arenanet and they are working on Guild Wars 2.
aion is made by NcSoft the publisher of gw

Fox015483d ago

I saw it on the Official site; the team that worked on the Original Guild Wars is working on Aion right now. That's the reason of the delay.

Anet also announced the 5th expansion. "We’ve already started applying lessons from the development of Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure to our fifth expansion, which we expect to be released next year." From their site, been with this game since 1st beta, and announcing the 5th expansion so soon, the game is doing very well, plus the graphics are improved a bit now that it's on DX11🙃

TGG_overlord235d ago

Correct, and yes. Imo, they've done very well for themselves, and I'm very impressed with what they have achived with GW2 since the game launched.
