Sega's Rise to Fame This Generation

SCRAWL's Sal writes "Sega, the company behind the Sonic series we all know and love, is stepping their game up this generation. They're really becoming one of the publishers to look out for this time around because they seem to be throwing out great games like it's nothing. Now with great games come a bit of alright to bad games under their radars as well, but we can't all be perfect."

Not on the Xbox 360. They've put out nothing but pure crap, mostly the Sonic garbage, FullAuto(didn't even release the sequel) and just retro crap you can play for free on the internet so I'm done buying anything from Sega.

only one platform and besides xbox 360 will get RROD 2 exclusive after all the first one was so good

LostChild5640d ago

I just want to see more of the Alien game(s), that Sega is publishing.

from Sega. I really can say enough good things about VC.

Sega is back big time. Another great Sega published game that was overlooked is Vikings.

One of the few 7th gen game that I'll full heartedly support for a remake.
Its a very unique RPG and deserves its faults fixed the 2nd time.

TheNamelessOne87d ago

I would be so for this. Alpha Protocol is the definition of a diamond in the rough. Before being acquired by Microsoft, Obsidian presented their ideas for a sequel, multiple times, but were always shot down. Even something simple like a remaster is very unlikely.

Still have a physical copy for my PS3. Clunky at times but I had a lot of fun with it back in the day.

Had some issues but that game was brilliant.

Spec Ops: The Line was super dark.

Incredible story.

SheenuTheLegend213d ago

all the games in the above list are bang on. this is the only reason we need backwards compatibility and physical presense of games for the upcoming future, no matter what.

Yi-Long213d ago

Honorable mention to the excellent Driveclub, one of the best racing games of all-time and one of my favourite games ever.

melons213d ago

yes! incredible rain effects; so good to drive along in rain with your Spotify playlist blaring

Skuletor213d ago

I really wanted a MotorStorm using the same engine, Driveclub is easily one of the best looking games on PS4 and I'm surprised they didn't even give it a PS4 Pro patch.

ravens52213d ago

Yes indeed. May just install it on my PS5. You know, physical copy and all.

monkey602213d ago

I adored Driveclub and the Bike expansion. I also loved Motorstorm. Evolution shutting down was a crime

Outrun Online Arcade, Sega Rally Online Arcade, After Burner Climax... all good stuff. I keep my 360 hooked up to play these as well as the TMNT games that were also delisted.

Skuletor213d ago

I have quite a few of these. Timed licenses suck.

Terry_B213d ago (Edited 213d ago )

wow...I have all of them except the Nintendo ones either in physical or digital version.

Also..Deadpool the Game is missing on that list.
